After updating bios no display

When I released the power button (still holding the Insert/Scroll button depressed), the computer came up and Windows booted.Could not, at that point, get ESC pressed; wouldn't let me into the BIOS.- Switch to "Security" and set "Secure Boot Control" to Disabled. - Press and hold ESC key to lunch boot menu when the notebook restarts. I opened the laptop to remove the CMOS battery and despite being more than 12h out, was not enough to reset.

I turned mine off by holding the off button in for 2 minutes. This time it showed Windows updating , which took quite some time. HDD worked only for few seconds and HDD LED went off.

I have another PC with which I can download anything if it's required. On desktops I would try to pull the CMOS battery for 30 seconds, but on a laptop that's not so easy and you'll probably void your warranty.

I don't know if anyone knows a better solution for this, but imho the best thing you could try is sending the laptop back to HP for warranty. I guess ppl just like to downvote questions they cant [email protected] If the laptop is a month old, you should be able to take it back to the shop you purchased it from for them to exchange it for another.

- If this will not work, do test the AC adapter if it's working properly.

While performing the HP Health Check, it was recommended that I upgrade the existing bios.
